The story so far
Cornucopia started in 2000 when Gregor Drugowitsch, at the time working as a fundraiser for Amnesty International Australia in Brisbane, recalled the years he spent as a face to face fundraiser for Red Cross in Germany and then helped to introduce face to face as a method to recruit new monthly donors for Amnesty International Australia. The success Gregor had, led Amnesty to outsource the new face to face program to the company now known as Cornucopia.
Cornucopia has since expanded significantly. Cornucopia New Zealand was launched in 2003 and in both countries Cornucopia has now worked with more than 20 charity partners. Our objective is to provide both quantity and quality in all that we do including our client relationships. We are delighted to continue to work with Amnesty International Australia amongst our other clients. We are proud to have many similarly enduring partnerships with other charity partners. Equally many of our staff have been with the company for many years highlighting our success in seeking to be an employer, as well as a face to face supplier, of choice.
We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton. Whilst our street and shopping centre teams have long been a key part of our success we are currently experiencing huge growth in our residential and business teams offering our fundraisers further opportunity and our clients greater options.
